Many S.R.A. Schemes sanctioned, but could not start.

As per G.R. Shivshahi Punarvasan Prakalp (SPP) formed (April 1998) under MHADA to provide 2 lac houses.

G.R. issued to convert SPP in to SPPL i.e.
Government Company with a mandate to initially take up 50,000 S.R. Tenements

-- 25,000 tenements departmentally
-- 25,000 tenements through Pvt. Developers by giving financial assistance

G.R. issued to contribute Rs. 300 Cr. Each by MHADA and MMRDA of Govt. of which

MHADA contributed	:-	300 Cr.
MMRDA contributed	:-	125 Cr.
Total	:-	425 Cr. To Govt.
Government released	:-	115 Cr. Only to SPPL as paid up capital out of total Authorised Capital of 600 Cr
